The project „Saving the folkloric archival material preserved in Chişinău, Republic of Moldova” takes place in Chişinău in 2018, having as objective the digitisation of three folkloric collections containing recordings made between 1945 and 1991 on notebooks and reel tapes, during field researches in the villages between the Prut and the Dniester rivers, conducted by specialists of the former Moldovan SSR. The grant was won by Dr. Victor Ghilaş, Moldovan musicologist, it is hosted by the Association Eurocentrica and it is generously offered by the British Library, through its Endangered Archives Programme. Due to the location of the conference in Bucharest, Romania, the presentation was made by Liviu Iancu, representative of Eurocentrica, clerical officer of the project.
